Our RV sites vary in size. The larger RV sites are our full hook-up sites which can easily accommodate big rigs; some of our river front sites will also accommodate RVs 25′ or less.

Are the campsites on the river?2021-12-09T14:46:52-06:00

Most of our tent camping sites are along the river. Our RV sites along the river have electricity (30/50 amp) and water (no sewer); however, we do have a dump station nearby. Our full hook-up sites (30/50 amp, water and sewer) are within easy walking distance to the river.

Our tent sites with water and electricity are mostly shaded. Most of our back-in RV sites are shaded, either in the morning and/or afternoon. The pull-throughs are in the sunbathed area.

All of our reservable tent sites now have water and electricity. Our overflow camping is primitive … there are no amenities..

Our tent sites vary in size and are anywhere from (2) to (8) person site. An average size tent will fit on each site per (2) people on site … rent a (2) person site, one average size tent will fit rent a (4) person site, (2) average size tents will fit, etc.

What are token showers?2021-12-09T14:48:30-06:00

In order to preserve our precious water and allow everyone to utilize the shower, our showers use tokens to operate. Tokens are purchased at the store for $1 each; each token lasts for about six minutes.

Firewood can be purchased at our camp store.

Do you allow private equipment in your campground?2021-12-16T07:16:21-06:00

We do allow private equipment; however, each individual with private equipment must pay a put-in/take-out fee prior to getting into the river. The put-in/take-out fee includes a shuttle. Please see our private equipment rules for clarification.

Do you rent tubes/rafts/kayaks?2022-07-14T17:28:17-05:00

Tubes can be rented for $20 with or without a bottom; and $20 for a tube with cooler. Our Kayaks are one-seaters and are $31 per kayak. Rafts are $26 per adult. There is also a deposit for each tube/raft/kayak rental but we do allow you to leave your credit card or cash until you return with the equipment.

No pets allowed May – September. Non-aggressive dogs are only allowed in RVs to monthly guests from October through April. Absolutely no dogs in tents or in RVs paying a daily rate. We do also ask that you pick up your pet’s deposits so other guests may enjoy our clean campground.

We do offer group rates for 30 or more people at or L&L #3 during the Summer Season ONLY. In addition, we do offer special rates for church groups, boy/girl scouts, during the off-season, etc. Please call for details 830-964-3455

What do I do if I arrive after the office is closed?2021-12-09T15:01:30-06:00

If you have a reservation with us, there will be a reservation card on the site that you reserved; therefore, please go directly to your site. If you do not have a reservation with us, pick a site that is not occupied and does not have a reservation card. Please come to the office the next morning to pay for your site if someone does not come by to collect.

Do you allow anyone to spend the day at your campground or is it only for campers?2021-12-09T15:02:49-06:00

We do allow day camping, Sunday – Thursday, excluding holidays. Fees apply.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?2022-07-14T17:29:16-05:00

We must receive the cancellation in writing via email. We can reply to your confirmation letter that was sent out to you stating that you need to cancel or go to the “Contact Us” portion on the website and submit the request through there.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A cancellation can be made once prior to the (15) days before the day of check-in with a 10% cancellation fee per campsite and will be applied and deducted from the total pre-paid reservation cost with the remainder being refunded back to the form of payment initially used. If the cancellation is made during the (14) days before check-in a 55% cancellation fee will be applied per campsite and deducted from the total pre-paid reservation cost with the remainder being refunded back to the form of payment initially used. A cancellation will not be processed if received on arrival date or guest is a no-show. There will not be any refunds processed due to Covid-19 or acts of Mother Nature, the standard cancellation policy would apply.

All reservations must be paid for at the time of reservation.

How far in advance can a reservation be made?2021-12-09T15:06:54-06:00

Reservations for any time during a calendar year cannot be made before January 1st of the calendar year.

Reservations can be made by calling 830-964-3455, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. If you get a busy signal, it means we are handling reservations for other customers … please be patient and try calling us later.
